cryptic post....

Almost 4 months.. enough is enough. This might be the longest period I have held out in the hope to get something out of it.

But..nothing is happening. Lots has happened..just not how I anticipated. The answers I seek were never verbally voiced. I decided to bail before it's too late.

You know, I don't usually give up so soon..but the odds are against me. It's a tough gamble..and better recoup my losses before I lost all my chips :P

PMS just doesn't go hand in hand with loud noises

With the bodily discomfort mthly issue I am having, I just wanted a quiet day at home, perhaps just laze in bed reading my books. However, it doesn't seem quite possible now as I am very disturbed by the drilling and hacking that is going on a few floors away. It may not be that bad on any other day, however it seem to be extremely loud and painful to my ears today ! It just adds on to whatever physical and emotional discomfort I am feeling . ARGH! Why must it be today!

ok ok...just calm down..

I just need to switch to my nice blog mood for now before I start getting agitated again..

Purvis Street

Chicky rice with Chris, Mark and Nicole. This is the one that is near to Raffles Hotel, one that I tried for the first time. Chicken is just so so.. I guess I would much prefer Yet Con and Chin Chin :)

If there is any reason to return to this eatery, it would be for this
thai style tofu dish. It is very soft inside and the sauce is nice

It was off to the library with Chris and Nicole after lunch. This marks Nicole's first visit to a public library. She loves books and it makes more sense borrowing them as some books can cost a hefty!

The children's section was filled with parents and kids alike. One terrible place actually. I am sure some of you know how bitchy naughty some kids can be. Even though it was crowded, there were still a few available kiddy chairs lying around the reading area. So Nicole noticed two next to where a girl (whose about 5 yr old ) was seated with her mum.

Nicole and I went over and wanted to move the chair to another corner and as we were doing that, the girl exclaimed loudly to her mum that she wants that chair.. I was like ..what! You have one chair already, why would you want another one?! The mum thankfully tried to reason with her daughter but I didn't bother to say thanks or whatsoever as it is the library's property anyway. Anyone can use it.

I guess this was a good exposure to Nicole becoz she will be attending 'school' next week! Yup, she'll be in full day play group starting next Tuesday. I bet the first few days are gonna be a trying time for both her and Chris. It will take her a while to get adjusted to this change in her lifestyle. Oh well, really hope Nicole doesn't get bullied by the naughty kids.

Was at Vivocity again...met Chrissy for a while. Both of us were hungry so decided to try Carl's Junior. It's Chris' first time eating it. I tried once last yr . We had no idea what to order, in the end, she had a Guacamole double bacon burger and I ate the Portabella mushroom burger *chey..it is the equivalent of BK's mushroom swiss but with MORE mushroom! i like :) * Oh it has jalapeno in it.. spicy! Another of my fav. burger-- Mos burger's Spicy burger has jalapeno too :P Just fyi..gaucamole is a kind of avocado based sauce. Mole means sauce .

Pss..can Carl's junior provide plates for the salsa? then i don't have to walk so many times.. the tiny plastic dish is not enough :P

Eileen's cure for PMS- Retail Theraphy!!

No, didn't really treated myself to a good lunch.

Mr A called impromptu, apparently he was at my neighbourhood running errands, hence had lunch (bar chor mee ) with him. We went separate ways thereafter.

Boy was I delighted when I found out there was a sale going on at Seiyu :) And so I shopped and I shopped, end result one hour++ later--

Pardon this no brainer entry.. it's just a rundown of what I have been up to.

How do you know that the haze could be back with a vengeance?? Just look at this photo taken on Wednesday evening (the papers reported that visibility was bad on Wednesday)
We had a short informal performance at the ACM Empress place that evening. It isn't very often that we can look at the sun directly :P

This week has been a drag, quite an uneventful week [i am only looking forward to the weekend-capital letter M! Mahjong! and meeting the gals for dinner..mrs lim 's bday :) ]

My hormones decided to attack me at full blast this week, giving me a wonderful burst of pimples (at my age!! enough is enough). Mood isn't quite on the positive side as well. Am terribly in need of some retail therapy . Yes yes, I do know it only last for the moment, but it sure does send my adrenaline pumping when I get to shop and buy what I like! I can see a lot of girls nodding their heads in agreement with me :P

Perhaps I shall indulge myself to a good lunch tomorrow.. that should be able to cheer myself up a little. Okay, enough of this.. I know it isn't just my hormones causing my low spirits... a person is also 'responsible ' for it. No wish to elaborate on that. Don't ask me as well.. just wish to keep it as it is. I will be fine after a good meal!! *prancing up and down*

Where was I on Aug 9 2006??

Woah..I thank my dearest brother for fixing my beloved pc. It got hit by the dirty, disgusting, hideous ,slutty trojan horse virus. My anti virus program managed to heal it, but one of the internet files was infected. So I couldn't log in to my msn and some other programs such as itunes couldn't function properly. Phew.. my bro managed to get the file online and fixed the problem :) Now it's back to normal again *clap hands*

Emotional rollarcoaster

Eileen has been thrown on to the emotional rollarcoaster once again!! It is taking her to places she has no wish to revisit!! Scary! Horrifying! She hates every minute of it!

She was in a jovial crazy mood when she met Alicia and Ed for lunch before gamelan practice. Now at 1.34am, she is panicky, surprised.. sad..disappointed..slighty happy ..all emotions jumbled up like rojak!

no..she is not having a breakdown lah..just a relationship sorta crisis. Did someone just shouted ..RELATIONSHIP?!?!

okay ..sit down..don't get so work up. It's really nothing..just something she is
trying to figure out. She decided to let the dust settle after an sms marathon. She is swarmed with thoughts.. the brain drawers are stuffed! They need to reorganize ..relocate..reduce..remove..reject..re -think about all the information that she has been feeding to them. The brain is over work for now..so she need to do something that requires minimal thought process..
