The one who loves clouds

It's the last day of June and wow, half a year has gone by. Are you ticking off the things you have accomplished on your 'To Do' list, or you have not even started? It'll be July in a couple of hours, it's not too late to start now :)

Anyway, it's midweek ! With all the World Cup frenzy going on, I'm here to bring you some sort of relaxation :P Sit back, relax and enjoy some of my cloud photos :D

Hong Lim Park
( best part is.. it's free!

Midweek mindless blabber

Well well, I have been telling myself not to be tempted by the new addition to the already overflowing donut market . Yet, I just couldn't resist joining the few people in the queue at J.CO. In fact, I was there when they first opened..but wasn't tempted back then :p oh well..

So here are the donuts that were shared among my family members and me :)
Those little round bits on top of the chocolate donuts were cereal crispy and are referred to as caviar .. (if only ). I heard that their beverages are apparently quite good. The donuts were soft, and the amount of cream were generous. But I guess nothing beats Krispy Kreme.. -_-''

This concoction here contains apple, carrot and beetroot.. hence the redness

Doesn't this bus stop brings back memories ? Not many of such bus stops around these days. Have you ever notice the design of the top? No ? Perhaps you should stop and take in the sights and scene of your surroundings... you'd be surprise of what you can see and observe :)

I got the green ears too ..hehe.. for a good cause.. why not? It doubles up as a hair band as well

First there is Nuffnang *where are the advertisers?*
Now...there is Advertlets.. I am sure you must have seen it in some friend's blog..that advertising box strategically placed either at the top of the side bar or header of the blog. Both of these companies are from our dear neigbour, M'sia. Still contemplating if I should place the adverlets ad or not.. since my sidebar's kinda 'congested' :P

I have been twigging my sidebar lately...actually, to be precise, with my whole blog layout. Honestly, I am getting kinda 'sian' of this template. Not sure if I should do a whole revamp. Have decided not to move to the new url i do have a few wordpress blogs done up as backup . I mean, not for now at least.. will see what I can do with the template... There are so many things I like about Blogger, on the other hand..it lacks some widgets I kinda like which could be found on Wordpress. ( such as calendar and recent posts widgets) . When will Blogger catch up? Give us more interesting widgets!! :P Wordpress isn't that fantastic.. of coz it's nice for those who wants something of less frills..I kinda prefer to add in my own touch . One cannot alter the css of the template.. unless one pays for it. Bleah. I can do it for free at blogger. Pros and cons for both... will stick to blogger for now.

ooh..another new place to be 'seen' and 'heard' . Ping.sg
Basically it will capture (Ping) all the listed bloggers' latest entries and post it for readers to read(pong) yeah.ping pong :P

Random midweek post

It was a regular Wednesday evening, with me having my weekly gamelan practice with the ensemble. Everyone seemed to be in good spirit and the atmosphere was rather relaxed. We got to learn a couple of new i thought easy pieces.

Practice ended at about 8.15pm and as per our prearranged plans, we took bus 95 to Holland V for late dinner . Crystal jade xiao long bao was the order of the day! The food need no further introduction by now. It wasn't crowded at all *being 9 ish pm by then* Service was good and our orders were served promptly :) Due to certain reasons, I guess I wasn't that participative in the dinner conversation with Alicia and the rest. I was spacing out, floating in and out of my thoughts . Nevertheless, I enjoyed my xiao long bao and red bean pancake!

And so we ate and yakked.. and before we realised, it was time to head home.

It wasn't much of a hassle going home from HollandV. There is my trusty bus service no.61!
I enjoy taking in the sight and scenes along the way ..

Doesn't matter that it takes me approximately 45 mins *prudent estimation* to reach home coz
61 drivers are well known "F1" drivers at night! They do not make unnecessary stops , they try to beat the traffic lights , and they speed and they speed!

Bus no 61 definitely goes places . It brings you from the suburban( machperson, kallang ) to the bustling city ( north bridge and south bridge road, city hall ) and back to the suburbans again ( bukit batok) . It is not a bus ride for the faint hearted :P and prepare a sweater or shawl of sorts as the aircon is pretty strong! Be prepared to freeze your toes off if you are not covered up :)

Major flaw of 61--long waiting time. I know as I have been taking this bus service since my secondary school days in SAC :)
