Bali Getaway Part 3

Picking up from where we left off in my previous post , we travelled up to Kintamain and stopped by a restaruant for lunch . I love this place as it is cooling ( okay in fact super cold with the wind blowing at us! )  plus the lovely lovely view of Mount Batur just right in front of us!

 Mount Batur  is located at Kintamani and it has erupted about 24 times since 

 1800 and still active up to now! 

Lake Batur is the biggest lake in Bali and functioning as 

                                                   irrigation source to all farmers around it

It was buffet style..so here's some of the things we ate

It was about 3.30 pm when we arrived in Ubud . I would wanna stay at Ubud the next
time I visit Bali :) It has both culture and nature....enough of beaches..the nxt time I would wanna explore the cultural side of Bali :)

Our driver brought us to Ubub market for 

some bargaining and shopping

It is a must to bargain! Do not be afraid..best is to just discount 50% or less
 from the price they tell you..then can then slowly bargain from there

Since 90% of Balinese are Hindus
they can eat pork..

( we both had the mix set)

After our early dinner, we went back to Kuta and that concluded our day trip..
We went walking around the shopping lanes in Kuta that evening
and ordered room service for supper.. :)
