Farewell dinner

Just when the group is getting on really well and most of the regulars are quite conformable with one another, two of the regulars had to take off for studies and work. Debs had to leave for Melbourne for a short period of time, while Joseph headed off to China, Da lian for work. Sure gonna miss them...but of course, there is always facebook n msn :)

So we had a farewell gathering for the two of them over at Deb's place last Thursday. Deb and Teck whipped up a mean feast for us! There was mushroom soup..mind u, not the canned one .. this soup is made up of at least 4 different mushroom all blended together :) There's also lasagna , oxtail stew? as well as spaghetti.

Just these few dishes is enough to fill up our tummies. Oh, but there were more food~ it was a pot luck after all. Joe bought chicken from Margret drive, Sharon got satay from Clementi, and I bought some sushi . As for desserts, there were two pints of ice cream from Daily scoop..Allen bought that..as well as James's delicious praline chocolates.

It has almost become a routine. We would always fill our hungry tummies with food, followed by drinks and chatting the evening away... That was the order of the night :P

Ah, we had a very young guest that night. Only 2 mths old and already captivated all ofus...especially one of the young ladies :P
