Mother's Day specials at Royal Pavillon At Park Regis Singapore

Come this Mother's Day, treat mothers to a well deserving scrumptious meal fit for the queens in our lives at Royal Pavilion  At Park Regis Singapore !

Park Regis Singapore is a newly refurbished hotel situated just minutes away from Clark Quay Mrt station. Serving mouth watering Cantonese cuisine, Royal Pavilion is too good to be missed .

Chef Kee and Chef Chan of Royal Pavilion has prepared  Pockets of Love  just for this Mother's Day.  There are a total of 7 new dim sum collection created by the talented Chef Chan and 3 exciting dishes that mums will approve of by Chef Kee.

Dim Sum Selection

Here are some of the new dim sum crafted using the freshest of ingredients . Some of the things I look for in good dim sums would be juicy filling and if prawns are used, then they have to be crunchy and fresh..  not too overly thick skins and another thing I note is if the fillings are nicely contained.

This is Royal Pavilion's winning pastry dim sum -
Baked Chicken Pie with Black Truffle Pies
Crispy pastry skin encasing fragrance truffle scented chicken
Everyone was reaching out for seconds!

Another well loved item would be the Baked Swiss BBQ Snow Buns
Filled with sweet char siew , it goes hand in hand with the outer layer of skin
that melts in your mouth just like snow!
nice balance of sweetness too!

Can you tell that these dumplings are goldfish?
Steamed Spicy Dried Shrimps

Here's another cute fish shaped dim sum~~
It's a winner already just based on the cuteness !!

There are two different dim sum here.. not so impressive as
compared to those above.

These xiao long bao are slightly bigger than the usual ones
Steamed Foie Gras and Meat Xiao Long Bao
The skin is very thin! It's not easy to have thin skin xlb as
they break easily and it does requires some
skills to make the skin as thin as possible. I slurped up all the soup !
One thing thou.. the foie gras taste is kinda subtle
meat is tasty and fresh ..doesn't have a porky taste to it :)

3 special dishes

Crispy skin smoked duck
Smoked in leaves and rich lychee wood, the skin is left with an exquisite yet subtle smoke undertone. Simply loving this quack quack ducky skin !
One of the best duck I have eaten :) I'm sure my mum would love it too !
This duck is ready to 展翅高飞

Stir-fried Coral Clam with Asparagus in “Lao Gan Tie” Sauce
I enjoyed the chewy texture of the clam and crunchiness of the asparagus.
Slightly spicy sauce is a winner :)

A perinnal favorites with the older folks
Claypot rice with lots of lap cheong!!

Very savory but can be tad salty cos of the lap cheongs
so do go easy on this dish :) Some tea would be good!

We all went wow when this fish swam to our table!
Fish-Shaped Panna Cotta in Mango Sago
Not only it's cute , it is very smooth and not overly sweet

Only 5 more days to enjoy this special treat !!
