Eileen eats Oceans of Seafood Yu Sheng

As the Lunar New Year draws near, many restaurants have started offering diners a wide selection of special menus and beautifully crafted Yu Shengs to entice us foodies ! I for one loves to take part in the whole 捞鱼生 process. That spontaneous action, and the saying of good wishes for one another really makes it fun and brings out the whole festivity mood!

Here's one pretty plate of Yu Sheng to bring some New Year cheer to you this Goat year ~!

Oceans of Seafood at Pasar Belle ( The Grandstand ) brings to us the "Vibrancy of Life " . It show cases seafood flown in from Tsukiji Fish Market in Japan

Isn't it pretty with the lobster head ?

The various condiments and items for the lou hei.
Quite healthy actually ! Has walnuts and also edamame beans
Goma sauce goes very well with the selection here !

Each set of this Yu Sheng also comes with a bottle of this sake :)
Vibrancy of Life Yusheng set is priced at $128++

Here's the Seafood hotpot ( good for 3-4pax) $38
Chockful of ingridents but pity most of the flavors have
gone into the soup :)

Oceans of Seafood has recently introduced 3 types of pasta for lunch time!

Of the 3 we tried, I liked this Clam pasta in white wine the most !

This is the Mentaiko Cream Pasta with smoked salmon.
It's quite nice, but pity the sauce is pretty watery.. could have been better

Perfect-Two Seafood Platter (good for 2 -3 pax).
Priced at $66, it comes with of 4  Pacific oysters, fried fish ,
6 prawns, Manila clams and seasonal vegetables. It also comes with 4 pieces of
freshly shucked oysters ( see pic below )

It's so tempting that one aquintane at our table who
doesn't eat oysters tried a piece of it too !!
Very fresh and creamy!

Oceans of Seafood is truly a place I can come back to again and again !!
