Visit to Terminal 3

Friday 23 Nov
Expo and Changi Airport

The day finally arrived for the long awaited Loreal sale. Chrissy and I were quite excited about it, hoping to stock up on some of the foundations , powders and mascaras. We decided to meet at Expo before the opening hour, just to be one of the early birds in the snaking queue. Yes, indeed we were among the first 10 to join the queue, however, it doesn't make much of a difference even if we were at the end of the queue. Why? I would say that this is one of the worst loreal sale I have attended. We were clearly disappointed as Loreal only had one of their mascara on sale and no liquid foundations at all.. *humph* Still, I managed to buy 2 boxes of my mum's much needed hair dyes, two 2way cake powders , one blusher and a mascara for myself.

We were all ready to pay just after half an hour! So fast.. and there isn't even a queue at the cashier this time round :/ All in all, we only spend about 45mins at the Expo .

It was off to the airport after that, and Popeyes was the choice of lunch that day :) They are much much nicer than KFC

Visit to Terminal 3

we took the skytrain via T1 to T3 :)

Do note that there are a lot walking to be done if the elderly is going . The place is huge!

Sunflowers don the skytrain lobby, giving it a cheery atmosphere

Facts about T3

Very "glassy"

Those flaps on the ceiling are special reflectors designed to maintain amt of sunlight
coming into the hall according to the weather conditions outside :)

Another view of the hall, with the water wall feature at the background.
The hall is very 'green'..lots of plants

Brewerks, Harry's, TCC are just some of the dinning outlets
in the transit of T3. Come next year Jan 9, you can check in earlier to get your
beer fix if you're travelling via T3

Posh classy restroom

Some restaurants and cafes are opened for biz already
in the pubic areas of T3.
There will be more dinning choices apart from T1 & 2 after T3 opens in Jan '08.

Wang toast and Coffee bean.. east meets west

*look look....airplane!*

Keen to go for a tour as well? The open house is on until 9th of Dec. Opens daily from 10am-5pm on weekdays and 9am-6pm on weekends. There is an admission fee of $1 or $3(guided tour) if you wanna visit the transit area. All ticket proceeds of the fee goes to Singapore Cancer Society :)

My parents went also and they said it was really really BIG! Anyway how you get wind of big sales :/

I want to shop for clothes at warehouse sales but I don't know when they are. I dumped 2/3 of my closet as I can't fit into them anymore, too big lol.
