An Evening of Southeast Asian Music and Dance

Presenting traditional music from Central Java, West Java, and Thailand, and exploring musical interaction between Southeast Asian musical cultures.

Featuring three large ensembles from different musical traditions:

NUS Singa Nglaras Gamelan Ensemble
NUS Thai Music Ensemble
Singalagena Degung Ensemble
with musicians and dancer from Thailand and Indonesia

Directed by Jan Mrazek, Paphutsorn Wongratanapitak, and Tatang Sofyan;
with dancer Nunuk Sri Rahayu.
