Restaurant Week Oct'13- Garibaldi Italian Restaurant

Had a nice luncheon with a good friend not too long ago at Garibaldi Italian Restaurant
I have been wanting to try the food there for the longest time...but it comes with a price tag ;P

Thankfully the set lunch for Restaurant week was reasonablely priced so it's really a good time to try out
these rather up market restaurants.

 My friend's soup
Sweet corn soup with olive oil and spanner crab meat

 Italian buffalo mozzarella cheese salad
with tomato avocado and smoked caviar .
 Loved the colors !

Home made thick noodles "bigoli" with broccolini ,
bacon and shaved pecorino cheese .
Noodles was a tad hard at first but got better as I ate on.
Simple dish but full of flavor :)

My friend's main has a "Xmas tree " and
a "poisonous looking " cauliflower on the side 😂 ...
Slow cooked red grouper

There was only one choice of dessert on the menu :)
overall it was delectable ..pity it was just a tablespoon of gelato.
Oh the tart base was hard ..
I had to "fork" 🍴it with some strength to eat it 😆😂

It was an enjoyable lunch coupled with good service too :)

I would come back again next year for Restaurant Week 2014
