A show not to be missed-- Cavalia

 If you have drove passed or walked pass Marina Bay Sands area these days, you wouldn't have miss this big white tent that has popped up these few weeks. And if you thought you heard horses' neigh, then you didn't hear wrongly! The horses are our stars for top notch horses and acrobatic show- Cavalia and it has finally opened yesterday evening !

There are 50 horses that are housed in the white tents ( in comfy stables of course) . Here's a little trivia about the horses- they are all males and the average age is 6, while the oldest is 20 :) 

The show - often labelled as an equestrian ballet  - combines advanced technology and the fundamental relationship that humans have developed with horses throughout time; enabling us to build bridges between cultures, to expand civilization and now to produce the purest form of art, one created through kindness, patience, and love. A show unlike any other, Cavalia celebrates the relationship between humans and horses, virtually reinventing the equestrian arts.

The stage has a whooping 60 meters screen!

Definitely enough for the galloping horses!

We were really in for a treat once the curtains were lifted..

I love the surreal looking visual backdrop which totally 

blended in with the different acts

I shan't reveal all about the performances of course but I can assure you that your eyes will be glued to the stage from the start till the end of the performance! I was very awed by how well trained the horses are and how they responded to their trainer's cues. 

 See these lovely creatures "dance" on stage and 

be captivated by how agile and beautiful they are as they 

run around the perimeter of the stage. I can use one word to describe 

--- Thrilling ! 

Especially so when the performers are standing on the horses' backs!

 If you were to ask which scene is my favorite, I would have to say I love the finale, the stage became a river of water and it was enchanting watching the horses prancing through the pond.

I strongly recommend Cavalia to all horse and animal lovers , and even if you do not particularly like horses , you will still enjoy the performance. Parents with children, this is one show not to be missed!
